Japanese Language Teaching
To meet the ever increasing demand of Professionals for Japanese Industries, a quality teaching in Japanese Language to read, write and speak Japanese through Japanese Language experts can only benefit the Indian learners for absorbing the language in the right way.
Japanese language education in India has experienced a boom in recent years, helping it to begin to catch up with foreign languages more traditionally popular among Indians, such as French and German.
South India, though traditionally a leader in the information technology sector which is driving so much of the demand for Japanese speakers, has actually lagged behind the country when it comes to teaching the language.
Oppurtunities
Japanese with its innovative and high end technology requires more than 200,000 Software engineers per year according to a study published by NASSCOM. With the opening up of other sectors also for Indian Entrepreneurs, the requirement of Technical people is bound to go up enormously.
Japan is entering the era of talent migration. Impressed with the quality of the talent pool in India and the country's dominant position in the global IT industry, Japanese Corporations have been keen on employing Indian IT professionals by providing salary packages equivalent to the packages offered to Japanese professionals. Referring to salary packages for entry, middle and senior level positions, the remuneration would be offered in the range between Rs. 16,04,050 and Rs. 68,74,500 per annum.
Despite the increase in the number of Indians studying Japanese, there remains a major shortfall relative to the needs of industry; for example, in the translation business, there are 100 jobs available for every 20 candidates.
However, this demand can be met only by those Technocrats who have knowledge in Japanese Language - to read, write and speak - as Japanese can communicate only in Japanese.

The Japanese Language Proficiency Test
- The Japanese Language Proficiency Test or JLPT, is a standardized criterion-referenced test to evaluate and certify the Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers.
- It is held twice a year in East Asia and once a year in other regions.
- In Japan, the JLPT is administered by the Ministry of Education through the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES). Overseas, the Japan Foundation co-proctors test administration with local cultural exchange and/or educational institutions, or with committees specially established for this purpose.
- A revised test pattern was implemented in 2010 (it was originally scheduled to be implemented from December 2009). The revised test consists of five levels: N1, N2, N3, N4, and N5, with N1 being the highest level and N5 the easiest. No Test Content Specification will be published as it is discouraged to study from kanji and vocabulary lists.
- The correspondence is as follows:
N1: slightly more advanced than the original level 1, but the same passing level
N2: the same as the original level 2
N3: in between the original level 2 and level 3
N4: the same as the original level 3
N5: the same as the original level 4
